Today I have a simple Get Well card I'd like to share. The white card stock base is a standard A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then used a piece of Typhoon blue Bazzill card stock cut to 4" x 5 1/4". Then the floral layer is from the DCWV Tradewinds stack and is cut at 3 3/4" x 5". For the sentiment I used the blue again cut at 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" and a white layer cut at 2 1/2" x 1". The sentiment stamp was an old one I had in my stash. For the inside I used a blue layer at 4" x 5 1/4" and a white layer at 3 3/4" x 5" and wrote a personal note inside. Thanks for taking a look, let me know what you think.
Hugs,
Paula
I hope this space provides inspiration and enjoyment. If you see something you like, let me know. I'd love to hear from you. I also take orders for customized cards, scrapbook page layouts, invitations, and favors.

4) What wizzes you off at the moment?
People who can't put down their cellphones. Do they really think everyone
wants to hear their conversation while waiting on line in the grocery store, riding the
train, or at the movie theatre. Really people put it down!!! Sorry, can you tell it
really annoys me.
5) Your favorite pet?
How can a Pet Mom pick? My present pet is my beautiful boy Jackson. He is a 9
year old yellow lab and a total sweetheart. My other favorite was my little furgirl
Erin. Erin was a gorgeous yellow lab mix whom I adored. She's gone 10 years,
but I still miss her every day.
6) Black or White?

I'm back!!
I apologize for not posting for so long. Sometimes life just gets in the way! I have been working on a few projects, and I'd like to share one today. I made this for a friend's birthday. She just got back from a trip to Paris and I thought she might like a place to put some of the photos she took on her trip. My project was inspired by a number of very, very talented people -- Kathy Files, Laura Denison and Tim Holtz. It is a vintage suitcase with a mini album inside. Kathy and Laura both did versions modeled after Tim's Vagabond machine. Most of my paper is from the DCWV Tradewinds stack. Here is my version. I hope she likes it and I hope you do too. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Wedding Shadow Box Frame
My niece recently got married and I put together a shadow box frame with items pertaining to her wedding. Her Mom sent me a bit of the ribbon she used as the sash on her gown and one of the boutonnieres. The bride gave me the flower she wore in her hair. I also kept what I could from the event and added a few extra items to make it a little more interesting. The picture isn't very good because of the background glare. I think you can still get a pretty good idea of how it came out. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Birthday Boy!
On Easter Sunday my furbaby Jackson turned 9 years old. To celebrate his big day I made him a party hat. (My husband is a NASCAR fan so I decided to make Jackson a checkered flag hat and use my husband's favorite driver's colors for the pom poms.) I couldn't find any checkered flag paper in my local craft stores, so I cut strips of black and white card stock and did a basket weave pattern like they taught us in grade school! It worked and my Jackson had a custom party hat, which he couldn't wait to take off! LOL!

- Over the years I have tried many different types of craft projects. I didn't really focus on paper crafting till I started a scrapbook to honor the memory of my sweet little furbaby Erin. Once I started scrapbooking, I was totally hooked on all forms of paper crafting!
- I love to cook and bake.
- I'm addicted to shoes!!!
- I enjoy reading. I think hardcovered books are treasures.
- I'm not great with all the new technology.
- I prefer music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s to the most of music that is out today.
- I'm so happy to have met so many talented, wonderful people through my love of crafting!
