Stick Pin Mania!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Recently I saw a You Tube video on making stick pins.  They are so easy and fun to make that I'm really having fun putting them together.  The colors, styles of beads, etc. are endless.  Attached is a few that I've made.  The picture is a little blurry, but you get the idea.  I'm thinking about hosting a swap.  I think it would be so much fun to see the types of beads and things others put together.  I love crystal beads, but there are so many others to chose from.  If anyone is interested in participating in a stick pin swap, leave me a comment and hopefully we can have some fun and make new friends.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join me in a stick pin swap.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hugs,
Paula

Masculine Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

Today I'd like to share a card that I made for my Brother for his birthday.  This card was inspired by Laura Denison at Following the Paper Trail.  She does the most amazing work.  Laura made a masculine mini album, each page being a different type of Mens clothing.  One was a suit, one was a plaid shirt, one was a golf sweater, etc.  I decided to make the suit page, but with a twist.  I made it into a card and changed it up slightly.  Laura's is a pocket page and the shirt collar is a pull out tag.  Her tie is attached to the front inside of the page.  In my version, I kept the pocket, however I didn't adhere the tie to the inside front.  I plan on putting my birthday sentiment there.  I attached the tie under the collar so when you pull out the collar the tie is connected.  On the back of the tag I've attached a gift card so the pocket worked out great.

This was so much fun to make.  I hope he likes it.  Thanks to Laura for the inspiration.  I'd love to hear what you think.  Leave me a comment and let me hear your views.

Hugs,
Paula
