Master Crafter Entry

Good Morning!

For today's post I have something a little different.  I am participating in a Master Crafter Challenge.  The challenge was on the http://www.pinkcricut.com, and there are a number of wonderful sponsors who have generously donated the materials with which we had to craft something.  We were sent a box containing a Scissor Mouse sponsored by Westcott, DCWV Rockstar mat stack sponsored by DCWV Deals, cottonbag sponsored by State line Bag Co., 1/2 sheet of rhinestones sponsored by Queen & Co., sentiment stamp sponsored by Pink by Design, assorted buttons.  (Note:  I did not receive the buttons that were supposed to have been included in the box, and was advised to substitute any buttons.)

For my project I did the scrapbook layout you see below.
The green strip and green squares were cut from the DCWV paper using the scissor mouse.  The letters were cut on the Cricut using the DCWV paper as well.  I took the cotton bag from State Line Bag Company and turned it into a rosette.  The Pink By Design stamp was used twice in the center of each of the heart designs on the green squares and I have three Queen & Co. rhinestones at the corner of the photo mat.  I hope you enjoyed my project and if you did, please stop by http://www.pinkcricut.com and vote for me!  Thanks so much!

Hugs, Paula

    1. Thank you so much Jessica for your kind words. It was challenging to come up with ways to use paper and other items I would not have chosen myself, but I hope I made it all work. BTW, I can't take credit for the little cutie pie in the layout, she's my niece. Thanks again for you comments.

    2. Back again to answer your questions and thank you for the sweet comments at my blog. :O)
I was so eager to get my post done to meet the deadline that I have to go back in and add more details to each of the pics. I used several Cricut cartridges for my Party Decor, but the Banner is from Pretty Pennants cart. Thanks again for stopping by and Good Luck to you in the challenge as well!

  5. Thank you. I enjoyed the challenge and I enjoyed working with your product. For this challenge I chose to turn the bag into a rosette to show the versitility of the product. However, I can think of many ways to use the cotton bags you sell. Thank you for linking my project to your Facebook album.
